The Retrofit Cabinet^TM is the perfect complement to the original MCM Base which is structural, in the sense that this one supports the lamp post. The Retrofit Cabinet is rather installed around the existing lamp post. It allows for an easy and quick addition of a telecommunication network, as well for burying existing overhead networks or building a new underground telecommunication network. Please note that the local authorities must first approve this type of installation. The Retrofit can also contain equipment used for other functions considered appropriate by the Municipality and MCM will soon propose to use it for Electric Vehicules Charging Stations.
