The MCM Retrofit Base is a non-structural cabinet with the same outside shell than the original MCM Base, but which is installed
around an existing lamp post (instead of the lamp post on top of the cabinet). Where a complete MCM Base is not required, the Retrofit
Base can be used for light telecom connection needs (where approved) or for harmonization purpose at minimal cost. The retrofitting
concept can also be used to add telecom networks aesthetically in an existing area. Historically, we have found that all projects require
at least a couple of Retrofit Bases.
