Smart Metering is compatible with all of the MCM cabinets which are CSA-3R rated. The most recent versions of electronic meters are easily installed inside the MCM cabinets where we can find the individual homeruns feeding the surrounding homes. The data can then be transmitted via one of the telecom networks we find in that cabinet or use the Power Line Carrier (PLC) technology or wirelessly by installing the required transmitters and antennas.
